SUMMARY
The most important parameters for success as an employee in the pharmaceutical industry are the ability to work in a team, understanding of your company’s internal departments (and their value creation) and in-depth knowledge of the environment in which pharmaceutical companies operate.
This two day course will provide you with a basic understanding of the entire value chain of the pharmaceutical industry. You will learn how ideas for new pharmaceutical products emerge, how they are developed and tested (in animals and in humans) and how companies obtain final approval from authorities. In addition, you will learn how pharmaceutical companies prices their products and what strategies are used for optimizing marketing and sales.
Finally, you will learn how to collaborate with the pharmaceutical industry’s stakeholders such as doctors, nurses, patient associations, politicians and authorities.
This course provides you with the competences to start a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, and competencies that are a prerequisite for anyone who collaborates with the pharmaceutical industry.
