Summary
Pharmacology I is the first 2-day course of three modules in the pharmacology course.
The overall learning objectives for all three modules are to understand the pharmaceutical field and its complexity from a societal perspective. We cover an introduction to rational pharmacotherapy, the ATC code system, unintended incidents, drug consumption in the primary/secondary sector, expensive drugs, drug substances, generic and trade names as well as introduction to the pharmacological dictionary.
On the first module, you will gain a basic understanding of how medications interact with the body's organs and cells and how they deliver effects and side effects.
The three modules are mandatory courses for the Pharma Consultant Diploma.
